Septic pumping and services in Naples

A Naples septic tank may be due for service, or rain may have left the yard wet around the system. Call the office and a real person answers. We will listen to the problem, explain what the crew needs to check, and get your property on the schedule.

Septic and sewer around Naples

Naples does not have one wastewater setup for every property. Some homes use city sewer, while others still depend on a septic tank. If your address has not been connected, the tank remains the system that handles wastewater at the house.

Collier County is moving sewer work forward near Golden Gate City, just east of Naples. That project shows why a homeowner may hear about a future connection while still needing a pump out today. A sewer plan does not remove the need to care for a tank before the line reaches the property.

Southwest Florida rain adds another concern. The water table stays high for much of the year and is highest in the wet season, roughly June to October. A drain field is the buried area that lets treated wastewater soak into the soil. Our sandy ground over limestone and shell drains quickly in dry weather, then has a harder time when the soil stays wet.

When we come to your Naples property

Call (239) 225-2255 if the drains slow, the yard smells, or wastewater is showing where it should not. A real person answers and hears the details before the visit. That gives the crew a useful starting point when they arrive.

The truck comes from the office and yard at 17551 Rockefeller Cir, Fort Myers, FL 33967. At the property, the crew checks access, finds the tank if needed, and looks at the water level before pumping. We check the tank and the route toward the drain field, then tell you what we found in plain words.

If a repair or new system needs a permit, Collier County still handles that through its county health department office. Florida’s septic permit program now belongs to the Department of Environmental Protection, but the local permit path remains important for Naples work. We will explain what applies to your job.

A clear next step in Collier County

Routine pumping, a condition check before a sale, and help with a backup all begin with a call. We can also look at a system that has become hard to understand after heavy rain or a change in how the property is used.

Septic in Naples

In Golden Gate City, just east of Naples, Collier County is building a water reclamation facility as the first phase of moving a community of about 25,000 residents from septic tanks to sewer. Those lots make up about 80 percent of the septic parcels under one acre in the county sewer district.

Since July 1, 2021 Florida's septic permit program has belonged to the Department of Environmental Protection, but permitting has fully moved to the state agency only in the Panhandle counties and Marion County. A Collier County septic permit still goes through the county health department office.

Common questions

Are Naples homes still using septic tanks?

Some Naples area properties still rely on septic, while sewer work is moving into nearby communities. If your home has not been connected, the tank and drain field still need care until that change reaches the property.

What is happening with sewer near Golden Gate City?

Collier County is building a water reclamation facility as part of a sewer expansion near Golden Gate City, just east of Naples. A project in the area does not replace the need to care for your septic system before your address connects.

What does rainy weather do to a Naples drain field?

The water table is high for much of the year and highest in the wet season, roughly June to October. A drain field is the buried area where treated wastewater soaks into the ground, so saturated soil can slow that movement. A wet yard or a rising tank level needs attention.

How does a septic visit work in Naples?

Call (239) 225-2255 and a real person answers. We note what is happening, send the crew from the Fort Myers office and yard, and have them check the system before explaining the next step.
